it started off well enough, up £2k on Tuesday and then a further £561 on Wednesday and then...it all went tits up on Thursday (excuse my French).
I have lost just short of £14k in 2 days with 6 of my bets hit their stop losses. I am now down to 12 open bets!
I am certainly not going to open any more in the near future (well, not any long positions in any case)
I have effectively lost just short of a months profits. Wow, a huge hit!
I am not sure if I should close all of my long bets, I will definitely give that some serious thought on Monday if this downward spiral continues, let's see what happens though.
My shorts are doing well though, not surprisingly This does make me wonder if I shoudl be balancing my portfolio with more shorts...
Investors are clearly seeing the big picture; cheap money is not going to be around forever. This bull run has mainly been driven by governments printing money than the underlying economy actually improving - I think anyway.
Well, at least it's sunny for a change in London!
