How I missed a £200k profit...

In round 1 I posted about what would have happened if I had kept my bets open, and it came down to the fact that I would have missed out on £10k! See the post here

I did the same in Round 3 and.....wait for it........I would be sitting on just short of £200k extra in profit!

Unbelievable, but true, numbers speak for themselves...

  2. Not sure - I need to do some proper analysis really. This view of me losing out on £200k is a bit skewed to be honest.

This analysis presumes that I had opened the bet and just held out not matter what the stock price did, I did not looking at the swings of the stock. The stock price could have plunged by 20% and then bounced back for example. I set stop losses religiously and I closed out of a lot of these bets by hitting my stop losses. So what I need to do is maybe re-look at my stop loss strategy, I might be setting it too close at 7% for current market conditions, but that also affects my £'s per point so I need to have a think.
